1 - 60 Aina is the principal port of the eastern lands. It is a mixing bowl of diverse cultures and walks of life. While safe to most, the port district holds many dangers for the unwary.

30 - 60 A waypost village, over run by a horde of ogres. The disgusting creatures charge exorbitant prices to wander through the dangerous streets, but it is the shortest path through the Pardor Mountains.

2-10 Deep below the beautiful city of Windy Bluff there is a dark side inhabited by goblins and kobolds.  Those who dare to adventure there say that gold seems to disappear from their pockets most mysteriously.

The River Ki

35-60 The River Ki is a fast paced river, flowing right into the sea. It is also the home to many creatures, some which are dangerous.
The Beaches of Barude

10-20 A small island located in the middle of the ocean, Barude is only accessible by boat. If you make it on time, you can catch a ride on the scheduled trip to Barude, at the docks in Aina. The beaches are home to crabs, sand weevils, and other sea creatures. Barude is also a favorite vacation spot for lovers.
The Swimming Dragon

0-60 The Swimming Dragon is the boat that shuttles people back and forth between Aina and Barude. It leaves at a set time, never waiting for those who are running late, so be on board, and on time.
Folcur Keep

25-45 Once a great Castle, Folcur Keep is now mostly in ruins. Pixies and halflings have taken over the destroyed area. Many secrets lie within, including the quests of honor, for those the spirits within deem worthy.
Kithan Mines

5-20 The expansive Kithan Mines are told to hold many secrets. Travelers pass through these mines, usually finding treasures of the mine's creatures, or losing treasure of their own.
Dragonvale

40-60 Behind the large gate, near Kettin, lies the home of dragons, Dragonvale. The King of Dragons sits on his mountain, watching over the different colored mystical beasts. Deep within the vale, it is rumored the great Dragon lords dwell, waiting for their chance to lead their grand beasts out of the vale.

The Catacombs

0-10 Located underground, the catacombs is the home of many outcasts of society. Gnolls, Hobgoblins and many other nasty creatures live within the underground mazes. The sewers of Windy Bluff holds one of the entrances.
The Broken City

40-60 One of the oldest cities in the Lands lies in ruins but fraught with many hidden mysteries and dangerous creatures. Filled with ancient secrets and a history of the very beginning of the Lands, this place was once home to that ancient religious order that guarded the very Darkstone.

1-60 This circus is a crazy and wondrous place where many mysterious things happen behind the circus tents.
The Undead Cemetary

10-60 Located between Eria, and Windy Bluff, the Undead Cemetery brings terror to both cities. Many creatures of the night can be found roaming in undead anguish. This is truly a place you don't want to be stranded in without a light
The Knighthood Guild

1-60 This is where the knights come when they need to consult with each other and plan their protection of the realm from those with evil intent. They will uphold the laws and bring justice to those that wish to break those laws.
The Shadows Clan

1-60 Nestled within the City of Shadows, this clan hall is guarded by fearsome creatures of darkness. The Shadows gather here to scheme against the forces of good and to pay homage to the darkness.

30-60 Safely nestled in the trees, Erin Minor is the secret headquarters of the elves. Many secrets lie within, but intruders are frowned upon. You can find this grand city deep within the tangles of Erinswood.
Preservia Wyld

10-30 Many creatures find solace within the Preservia Wyld. A few shops, a restaurant, and a lot of wildlife make for a great place to visit. It is located in the lovely scenery just east of Windy Bluff.
The Temple of Tatianna

1-65 The Temple of Tatianna is located within the city of Tatiavija. Many of Tatianna’s worshippers go on a pilgrimage to her temple to pay homage to their Goddess and to earn her blessing.
The Fortress of Light

1-65 This fortress is heavily fortified against an outside attack on its walls. The many banners of the light can be seen flapping in the morning breeze on the battlements. Inside this fortress, however, the light makes good their plan to destroy darkness.
The Druid Tree

10-60 Many druids come to study and live in the Druid tree. It is a beautiful place, located within the Preservia Wyld.
The Vampires' Clan House

1-65 These halls where wrought long ago and hold much evil within them. This is where the Vampires come to seek refuge during the daylight hours. During the night these halls are mostly deserted because the members are out hunting their prey and sucking their blood.
The Katrin Fortress

30-60 The Katrin fortress is the last stronghold of the Katrin race. Located deep within the Jungle of Morgaz, it can be a task just to find it. The Minotaurs, age old enemies of the Katrins should be wary of coming within arrow range of the Fortress.
The Windy Bluff Academy

1-5 The academy, located just northwest of the Windy Bluff Town Square, teaches youngsters the very basics of life skills. The cook will give starving students a bowl of gruel but watch out for the rodents beneath the kitchen.
The Mystic Guild Hall

1-60 This is where the Guild of Mystics come to practice their magic and channel their energies through meditation. Located within the ruins of the desecrated mage tower this hall holds much power and magic. This is the hall of the Guild of Mystics, and mana seems to flow freely within its chambers.
The Kor Range

20-40 Located to the southeast of Kettin, these hills hold many mysteries including an odd windmill and strange paths between the massive mountains.
Gorag Pass

40-50 This pass has become a battlefield for the katrins and minotaurs. Carrion birds fly overhead, and many strange howls can be heard on the wind.
Misty Path

40-50 A forsaken barren land where the mist rolls thickly over the undulating ground. Many strange things happen within the nearly impenetrable mist.

20-45 This city is devoted to the Goddess Tatianna, and is filled with her love. The many people that take up residence here worship her.
The Kettin Hillsides

20-40 These hills hold many secrets for the adventurer to uncover. Many types of strange and unusual wildlife grow and thrive around these hills, and it would be wise to use caution.
The Shagrim Hills

15-25 These hills hold many dangers and secrets. The unprepared adventurer may fall victim to some unseen trap if they are not careful.
The Monastery of the Gods

40-50 This area has many mysteries hidden within its walls. If one were to look hard enough, they may even be able to enter the walls themselves though these are but fables told in the bar after too many ales.
Kettin Moor

35-60 What long ago was a dark and beautiful forest between the grassy hillside of Kettin and the rocky outskirts of Kor range has long ago changed into a hostile environment. The ground is marshy and treacherous to step upon. Life has nearly vanished, besides some swamp animals, magical creatures and those who decided to inhabit the Kettin Moor despite its unfavourable circumstances.
Gloomdeep Caverns

15-25 Located near Shagrim, these caverns hold many mysteries for one to uncover. It is home to deadly wyverns who have made their home deep within the tunnels of this cavernous place.
The Village of Aikish

This small fishing community is found near the Great Desert, so the weather is pretty hot and humid here. You can also find a good racing camel for the right amount of gold.
The Chasm of Painted Ones

This is a small village found in the Jungle of Morgaz. It is filled with gigantic bugs and other large beasts. This part of the jungle also holds some mysteries.
Mount Kumand

This hot lava retreat in the Kor Mountains is filled with mining ants, and other types of fire ants. It is rumored that an imp can be found inside the lava.
The Great Desert

This hot and humid place can be found on the western side of the realm, directly south of the trading city known as, Phatep. It is filled with sand, scorpions, lizards and other various small creatures.
Windy Bluff Manor House

This mansion can be found right in the town of Windy Bluff. It is home to the Lord of Windy Bluff, his daughter, and all their faithful servants.
The City of Shagrim

This city of Shagrim can be found on the southwestern side of the realm. This city is a large bustling desert port town, but that isn’t all you will see here as merchants are everywhere in this city selling their wares, day in and day out.
The Frostwood

This cold mountainous place can be found just to the east of the Kor Range. It is filled with creatures big and small. But, if you are coming here, bundle up, it gets rather cold at night.
Windy Forest Retreat

This is a beautiful retreat found just southwest from the town of Windy Bluff. It is a good place for the beginner adventurer to practice his or her skills and spells. It is home to a beautiful array of small animals, and also to a few secrets that are worth trying to figure out.
The Erian Underground

This is an extension from the city of Eria. It is where the mining activity of the dwarves occurs. A small merchant area has grown up around the
mining activity as well as a large auction house.
The Village of Getlin

This is the home place for the gnomes that roamed around the realm of Darkstone for quite sometime. Shortly after coming to this village they had to survive a strong attack from the trolls. They almost didn’t make it until a great gnomish priest saved them. Due to the attack, they had to go into hiding, so look very closely at small details to find this place.
Wildwood Grove

This place resides just northwest from the town of Windy Bluff. It is where all the adventurers of Darkstone can have their dream home built to their own specifications, for a cost. They can also store the items they find from their journeys throughout the realm in their homes as well. Check out the model home located there for further information on player housing.
The Temple to Seluctruh

This temple was built by the followers of Seluctruh as a place to gather and pray to the Dark Lord. Priests inhabit this temple full time, keeping up the temple and the Garden of Sorrow that lies behind it.
Getlin Forest

This forest is found just south of Varin. It is there to keep the invaders out of the Village of Getlin. A few animals run around this forest, looking for easy prey, so watch your step. It is rumored that the Village of Getlin was hidden inside the forest, and can be found if searched for.
Thanridge Village

This small village can be found east from the Plains of Gorud. This place is heavily guarded with Thanridge guards, but they mean you no harm unless you come asking for trouble.
Taraderic Thespian Theater

This is where the Thespians relax and call home. And also if you are lucky enough, you can see them perform great acts on stage.

This tree house is located just north of the Heartwoods. It makes home to hermits that aren’t looking for any trouble, they are just trying to live their lives the best it can be lived.
The Windy Bluff Outskirts

These are the outskirts of the town of Windy Bluff. It is said that the ones who are outlawed from Windy Bluff reside here. So, all the thieves and mercenaries flock here, to think of schemes on how to kill and steal inside the city each day. If you are passing through here, be careful of your belongings and your life.

This large port city is found in the northern part of the realm. Known throughout the realm as the city of thieves, this city has come by its reputation honestly. Many different clans of thieves call Keldabar home, so if you plan on visiting this area, watch your coin purse!
Windy Bluff Countryside

This is the beautiful countryside of Windy Bluff just to the southwest of the city. It has great scenery and a few inhabitants. The few people that live there have been working on a great rock garden for some time to help attract more travelers to this place. There has been myth of a magical man that lives inside a tree as well.

This lighthouse sits off the edge of the River Ki, overlooking Calmeni Cove.
Keldabar Sewers

These are the treacherous sewers that reside under the city of Keldabar. The sewers are filled with the waste of the city, as well as the vermin that the waste brings. A few secrets lie within the passageways, if you are a careful observer.

This powerful river is found just north of Erinswood and pours out into Wolf’s Bay. This river is home to many fish and birds, and also families of beaver. The river holds a few secrets for the bold adventurer, as well as offering a spot to participate in the relaxing sport of fishing.

This small village is home to the elvish kind and runs right along the banks of the River Torig. They frown upon visitors to their home, so they have hidden themselves deep within the trees.

This forest is found just northwest of the safe haven, ‘Windy Bluff.’ It is home to some of the smallest animals that intend to harm no one. It's pleasant trails offer a quiet place to wander and enjoy the scenery.

Along the eastern edge of the Kithan Mountains is this valley, filled with beautiful sites, treacherous paths and some tough creatures as well.

This is home to a group of werewolves who live a quiet life far from civilization. They wish to go about their daily lives in peace, and to be left alone.

Located in the center of the bustling city of Phatep, the palace is home to the Pharaoh and his wife. Grandeur and opulence abound within the palace, worthy of the status of the ruler of the city
Cliffs of Calmeni

The cliffs jut out into the sea, creating the quiet spot of Calmeni Cove. The cliffs offer a grand view of the surrounding countryside, as well as the waters of the sea. It is said that a ruined tower is hidden somewhere atop the cliffs, which holds many secrets and treasures.

This spralling stretch of highway is used by travelers who are making their way from the jungles of the north down to the lands of the Glandar.

A magical city, that is home to those who practice the magical arts. A large merchant area caters to the mystical needs of the local residents as well as those that travel to this city. Many secrets lie within this city for those with an adventurous soul.

A grassy plain that stretches over the central northwestern section of the realm, this area is home to many plains animals, as well as a small village of orcs who use this area as a base from which they send out traveling merchant groups.

Home to the Silent Swords, this hall is their base, where they practice and hone their warrior skills and gather to plan their next exploit.
Hydan Island

Just a boat ride away, this secluded island offers adventurers a place to go where they can rest and relax, be it in the Sea Dog Restaurant over a lobster dinner, at the Fog Horn Lounge with a bottle of honey wheat beer, or resting in one of the spacious rooms of the Heaven at Sea Inn. Look for the dock where the boat moors on the northwestern edge of the Great Desert.
The Caves of Southern Kithan

A spralling cave system found within the southern Kithan Range, this area is home to a group of Cyclops. The caves offer a route all the way south to Wolf Bay.
Happy Haven Children's Home

Nestled within the rolling countryside east of Windy Bluff, this home is run by a group of nuns, and offers the orphans of the realm a place to live while suitable homes are found for them.

Tales told by old adventurers over mugs of mead include one about an ancient sect of evil priests who lived in the time before the breaking of the darkstone. The temple of the priests was said to be in the northwestern corner of the realm but many a stalwart adventurer who has gone in search of it, has found nothing but a mystical forest.
