The City of Varin
Once, long ago, Varin was a small trading village nestled in a southern valley of the Pardor Mountains. The small town was invaded, then enslaved by hordes of ogres who wandered aimlessly from the north. Now, hungry for gold, the despicable creatures charge hideous prices to allow passage through the mountains, and keep the unlucky survivors of the raids as slaves. It is said a resistance mounts against the ogres, and any adventurer bold enough to try may join their cause.
