The 13 Days of Evil
The Mist - Day 10
The night started with a dense mist that seemed to cover the entire lands. Strange occurances were reported as a result of this strange mist. Many people were sedated and feel asleep. When they awoke they reported strange dreams that involved possessions, demons, vampiresses, and other unholy visions.
This story reports on the affects the mist had on the Augurer, Goradin, and the brave Lyssa, a well known vampire.
As the mist passed by Goradin he felt a strange urge to lie down and sleep. He knew he was not in a safe place, he was still along the path leading out of the Bar-Gith Forest. But he could not resist. He relaxed under a large oak tree along the path and dozed off. In his dreams appeared a very attractive vampiress. He was very attracted to her, but sensed the danger she possessed. Much later he awoke only to find this very vampiress kissing his neck.
Before he could resist, the vampiress bit Goradin on the neck, and started to suck his blood!
Goradin whispered "Who are you? What are you doing to me?"
Just then, Lyssa came barging through some trees.
Lyssa yelled "Come to me, Goradin... She is not worthy of you. I must kill her and see if I can break her spell. She bite you and you will become one of them if I am unsuccessful."
Angered by what had just happened, Goradin leaped to his feet.
Goradin proclaimed "NO!"
Goradin uttered the words, 'pabraw'. Goradin's harm spell mauled A Seductive Vampiress!
The vampiress shreaked and attacked Goradin viciously. He was bleeding freely from the brief attack. She had razor sharp claws and teeth and was using them like knives.
Goradin uttered the words, 'xafe ay candusqarr' and disappeared in a swirl of smoke.
A tiny rosebud descends from the Heavens and burst into bloom as Villani appeared before them. She brought with her Goradin. Now fully healed.
The seductive Vampiress hissed in displeasure.
Villani proclaims "I have returned from the island, I fear the evil is growing here."
Villani proclaims "Goradin, it has chosen you, beware shades for they are not what they appear to be."
Goradin proclaims "I serve the Vampires wholeheartedly, I am the friend of vampires, I fear no undead."
A Seductive Vampiress proclaims, "You love me, Goradin, you said you did..."
Villani says to Goradin, "It is a shadow stalker that seeks to create an opening, protect the lands Goradin'
Goradin says to the vampires, "You're not real!"
Lyssa gritted her teeth and yells to the vampiress, "You better get ready! Cause if you try to get Goradin, You'll have to get through me!"
Goradin agreed. "I fight along side my kinswoman, Lyssa...together we shall destroy you, foul creature!"
Villani watched in horror as the battle began.
The Vampiress's slash scratched Lyssa across her neck.
Lyssa's stood strong and cast a harm spell that decimated The Vampiress!
The Vampiress fought back with a bite that tore into Lyssa's arm.
Lyssa shrieked in pain, then stabbed the Vampiress in the neck with her dagger!
Lyssa stared the victim in the eyes as it let out a death cry.
Lyssa fell to her knees, exhusted.
Goradin ran to her and thanked Lyssa for bravely charging into battle and slaying the foul beast.
