An Augurer's Tale

The sky was lit a fire by suns first dawning, clouds still transparent it seamed, as the reds and oranges of the sun burst through, revealing a light, one could only turn his head to watch... There was a soft breeze and the leaves on the oak trees rustled.

A baby's cries could be heard with the wind, for it was on this day, that a young Glandar child was born, A Glandar child who would go by the name of Solarian Moonshine. Born in the city of Elsin, on the 24th day of the month of the wolf.

Solarian’s Parents were but humble citizens of Elsin, who went by the name of Sarak and Kliyan. They could afford the best education for Solarian, but he didn’t seam to need it, he excelled in all the subjects he studied. His teachers noticed Great potential in Solarian, so they asked a man by the name of Gulag, from the magic school to observe Solarian. He also saw potential in this young Glandar, so he offered Solarian the chance to become an Augurer. Most who studied at the magic school studied to become Mages, but Gulag, Solarians mentor, he was a warrior before he became a mage, which is a very rare occurrence. Gulag was one of the oldest Augurers, who use a mixture of Magic and Brawn to overcome obstacles. Of course, Solarian jumped at this opportunity. So Solarian set on his path in becoming an Augurer.

A good few years into Solarian training, Ogres attacked the Magic school chanting Seluctruhs name, Solarian slew to of these creatures as they rampaged, but then he had to treat. A mighty battle raged on, through day and night, Mage and Augurer and the other magical races joined to fight this foe, unfortunately, before they forced the ogres into retreat, Gulag was killed. Solarian then began devoting his life to destroying evil, and in the end, destroying Seluctruh himself…

Solarian, was not yet a full Augurer, he still had some training to do, so he began, fighting smaller creatures at first, then moving onto bigger and more experienced foes. After many years passed, he finally became a full Augurer, at the height of power. It had took him many years because he had no Mentor but through the struggle, and strife he had prevailed.

So Solarian set his mind on his goal, to destroy evil completely, and get revenge, for the killing of his mentor, Gulag.
